Ok, we are not 100% certain that our PureBond hardwood plywood is used in this project brought to you by Jen Woodhouse of the The House of Wood DIY blog but she does, more often than not (maybe even 100% of the time), use our formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood in her projects! So, even if these unique candle holders made from scrap plywood aren’t made from PureBond we are claiming them because not only do they make use what is usually thrown away scrap but are quite fabulous to boot…we LOVE that Jen is using her materials right down to the last cut

Seriously, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jen Woodhouse, the face and mind behind The House of Wood DIY blog but we LOVE and ADORE this epic, awesome, cabin bed that she has crafted for her son Liam! I mean check it out to the right, isn’t it totally fabulous…hole pocket joinery and formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood throughout the bed? What a lucky little boy!
For this project Jen used plans courtesy of Ana White and PureBond panels that she picked up at her local Home Depot store (in stores and online) all of which she details in step by step How-to instructions complete with a comprehensive video (see it below)….the total package Click here to see it all for yourself!
So, if we haven’t said it before, we’ll say it again, we either want to be related to Jen Woodhouse or be her best friend because she keeps making all these wonderful pieces of furniture for them! We hope they know how lucky they are not only to have quality, formaldehyde-free, built to custom order pieces for them but also because the furniture was done for a fraction of the cost to buy similar pieces at retail!
This 9-Drawer dresser was a huge project, if fact so big that Jen broke it down into 4 post installments that outline in detail the complete How-to from creating the carcass (frame), to making drawer boxes, to finishing….she has covered it all!!!
For more project details and links to all the installments, click here! And for information on where to buy our PureBond hardwood plywood that Jen used in the construction, click here for information on PureBond at Home Depot in-stores and online.
Another PureBond favorite courtesy of Jen Woodhouse of the House of Wood DIY blog! This bed was part of a Summer DIY series featuring not only other DIY bloggers but designs inspired by the West Elm catalog! Jen picked this lovely bed design especially for her four-year-old daughter as a new “big girl bed”, ergo it was aptly renamed the ‘Evelyn Chevron Queen Bed”…LOVE it!!
As always Jen chose to use our formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood that she conveniently purchased at her local Home Depot store! For the complete low-down on this fabulous project and more information on the Summer series, click here!
We’re thinking that Jen Woodhouse of The House of Wood DIY blog is on a mission to see how many projects she can get completed before heading to the Haven Conference (it starts tomorrow!!!) where she is one of the guest speakers for this DIY/Blogging venue held every year in Atlanta, GA!!!
This nightstand made from our PureBond hardwood plywood for her brother-in-law is her newest creation and maybe her last before heading to Haven as Jen has discovered the heat challenges of an Alabama Summer! As always we LOVE Jen’s work and she always uses our formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood that she purchases at her local Home Depot! For a complete How-to on this project click here.
