Seriously, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jen Woodhouse, the face and mind behind The House of Wood DIY blog but we LOVE and ADORE this epic, awesome, cabin bed that she has crafted for her son Liam! I mean check it out to the right, isn’t it totally fabulous…hole pocket joinery and formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood throughout the bed? What a lucky little boy!
For this project Jen used plans courtesy of Ana White and PureBond panels that she picked up at her local Home Depot store (in stores and online) all of which she details in step by step How-to instructions complete with a comprehensive video (see it below)….the total package Click here to see it all for yourself!
We’ve all been quite busy here this week at PureBond headquarters, packing away all the swag, like some totally cool, quilted, silver, bags that are to die for, that we’re taking to Haven again this year, not to mention other bits and pieces of swag, a $200 Visa Gift Card give-a-way, product information and much more, that we have to give away to those that stop by to say “Hi” at our booth! However, new for us this year will be a breakfast sponsorship we are doing with Home Depot (they sell PureBond hardwood ya know) where they are planning on having an interactive, take-away, something (we don’t know what yet) made from PureBond hardwood plywood at the breakfast, so keep an eye out for that as well! In addition, as a Haven first, PureBond will be supplying wood panels to Kreg Tools, so stop by their booth and check that out as well!
And for those you who are now totally confused about “What Haven is?”, here is the scoop…Haven is a DIY/decorating professional blogging conference which takes place July 16-18, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. The conference brings 400 pro-bloggers together with over 100 sponsor representatives for a 3 day event. Sessions focus on improving skills in blogging, decorating, home improvement, photography, writing, social media, brand relationships, book writing, and more! Our conference began in 2012 and each year attracts the most notable DIY/Home bloggers in the blogosphere. How cool is all that? We can’t wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks!
We love Jen Woodhouse of The House of Wood blog and we really LOVE these nightstands that she just crafted for her friend Emily….I think we all wish we had Jen for a friend after seeing these fabulous creations! Jen made the nightstands based on a plan from Ana White utilizing our Birch formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood that she purchased at her local Home Depot store (you can purchase cut size panels online as well)! Check out the project in detail at Jen’s blog by clicking here and for How-to plans from Ana, click here!
Lady Goats (Gina) claims that this has been the longest project she has worked on, however, regardless of how long it as taken Gina, we think the resulting outcome is a fabulous dresser that she based on Ana White’s Fillman Dresser plans. The dresser is a creation that utilized remnants of an old dresser combined with some of our PureBond hardwood plywood, which yielded a finished piece of furniture that is better suited to her family’s current needs! This pristine X Base End Table project was created by Simply Lovely Lumber utilizing our North American-made, Maple PureBond hardwood plywood in the construction that was purchased locally at The Home Depot. Stephanie, the creative mind behind Simple Lovely Lumber got a project assist by way of Ana White for consultation and plans and as you can see the result was fabulous and done a low-cost to boot!
